The Bow RiversEdge Campground, located in Cochrane Alberta, is a "hub" for exploring the rich heritage, current events and breathtaking scenery found in this western township.

The City of Calgary is a short 15 minute drive east of Cochrane. In the city, you can visit the Glenbow Museum, Heritage Park, Fort Calgary, the Science Centre and the Calgary Zoo along with a wide range of shopping centres and restaurants.

To the West, the magnificent Rocky Mountains are also only a short drive away via the TransCanada or the 1A highways. The 1A offers a more scenic and slower paced journey through Exshaw and Canmore to Banff.
